We often get our residents to interact and experience things they don’t get to as often anymore, which is why we run our sensory day!

Everyone got to use their sense of touch, smell and taste, with a number of different activities through the day. We had some little critters brought in to smooth, including rabbits and guinea pigs, we had a range of different fruits for them to try, and even perfumes and scents to give a lovely aroma. Everyone had fun and we can’t wait for the next one!

We’ve been making the most of the sunshine this August, with a trip to Broad Haven beach!

After getting everyone on to the bus, we headed off to the seaside where our lovely residents got to feel the sand on their toes and the sea breeze on their faces. It was a wonderful day out for everyone!

We had a fantastic time at our Summer picnic this weekend, with all of our residents tucking into tuna and cucumber sandwiches, victoria sponge and drinking our delicious, alchohol-free punch! The sun even came out to play!
